If there were a "Location Hall of Fame," this spot would have its own wing. The wide-open fields? Check. The "is-this-even-real" mountain backdrop? Check. That perfect sun flare that makes everyone look UH.MAZING? Triple check.
Basically, this location is the MVP of my portfolio—it simply never misses.
The "Wild One" Factor
Surprise, surprise... this family absolutely crushed it. Their toddler arrived with a very specific agenda, and spoiler alert: it didn't involve "sitting still and smiling." She was wiggly, giggly, and approximately 10% human, 90% caffeinated bunny. She spent more time hopping through the grass than looking at my lens, and honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way.
The 'Not-So-Secret' Secret: I’ll take a kid who wants to play over a "perfect" poser any day of the week. Why? Because you can’t fake genuine laughter, and you certainly can’t pose the kind of natural movement that happens when a toddler is living her best life.
Dirt, Diapers, and Dad-Tipping
We kept things "authentic," which is photographer-speak for:
A tactical potty break in the dirt (nature calls, even in a photoshoot).
A few minor tumbles (total badges of honor).
A literal takedown when a bunny-hop-turned-tackle sent Dad straight into the weeds.
It was chaotic. It was hilarious. It was real.
Why I Keep Coming Back
Beyond the aesthetics, this spot is conveniently located for most of my clients (and let’s be real, for me too). It’s easy to get to, but it looks like a dreamscape every single time the shutter clicks.
Moral of the story: If you bring the energy (and maybe some kneepads for Dad), the mountains and I will do the rest.
