Perched high overlooking the valley, Tunnel Springs offers vast, rolling hills covered in tall, sun-bleached grass that acts as a natural, warm neutral backdrop. The wide-open landscape allowed those vivid oranges and jewel-toned turquoises to take center stage, while the soft golden hour sunlight wrapped everything in a classic, earthy glow. It was the absolute dream location to bridge the gap between bold wardrobe choices and timeless imagery.
Beyond the breathtaking views, the star attraction of the evening was undeniably the local wildlife. The fields were filled with endless grasshoppers, which turned out to be the ultimate secret weapon for engaging the kids. Instead of rigid poses or forced smiles, the session naturally turned into an adventure. The kids spent the evening exploring the hills, chasing after grasshoppers, and showing off their best catches.
By letting the kids lead the way, we captured raw giggles, candid curiosity, and real family connection—all set against sweeping hills and a painted Utah sunset. It was equal parts beautiful, energetic, and authentically them.
